Structural assessment of the masonry arch bridge, surveys to understand the masonry strength and the surfacing depth and material. The proposed survey works include: - 3no. 0.7m x 0.7m trial holes (1 trial hole per arch) over the bridge deck (from above) - Minimum 6 cores total to be taken from the arch crown (2 from each trial hole). Size: 75 mm dia ? 185 mm length (minimum). - Core Samples (arch backing) - minimum 4 bore holes total to be taken from an offset to the arch barrel.
