Officer report

Why officers recommended approval

Officers considered the building acceptable in layout, siting and design, with no significant effects on character, neighbours, access, noise or protected species.

“As the proposed structure has an acceptable layout, siting and design, is in keeping with the pattern of development in the area and would have no significant negative impact on the amenity of neighbouring uses by means of loss of privacy, overbearing, or noise, this proposal is compliant with Policies P1, P3, and P4 of the ALDP as well as Policies 14, 16, and 23 of NPF4. A letter of objection raised concerns of potential impacts on hedgehogs and other protected species.”
