Proposed 1100m buried electrical power cable extending from Congleton Park Weir, located to the West of Congleton Park, to the Siemens factory situated within the industrial estate to the north east of the park. The route runs, initially along the south bank of the River Dane, traverses the river Dane supported by a public foot bridge, across Congleton Park playing field to the north corner of the park boundary and finally along a public foot path and a road section to reach the factory switch room.
