“Members expressed support for the proposal, while concerns were raised regarding harm to the character and appearance of Dorking Halls as detailed in the report. Members questioned the location of the installation and put forward suggestions of how to reduce the visual impact it would have. Officers concurred with Members concerns and confirmed all potential locations for the installation and how to minimise its appearance had been explored.”
