“SITE DESCRIPTION The application relates to a Grade II listed former Roman Catholic Presbytery and private chapel located in open countryside to the north of Kendal approximately 500 metres to the west of Laverock Hill, Mealbank and 340 metres from Scarfoot Cottages. The property is relatively secluded within woodland and is set back from Helme Lane and accessed via a long private drive. There are two Public Rights of Way through the property.”
