Refurbishment and alteration of Carrickfergus Town Hall, the Museum and Civic Centre and the former Community Advice Building to create an integrated civic, arts, cultural and community hub, including internal reconfiguration and removal of later non-original additions; upgrading of the Jubilee Hall, Dobbs Room, foyer, reception, bar, ancillary, museum and atrium spaces; conversion of the former Advice Building to a lifelong-learning and education suite with Changing Places provision; relocation and enhancement of the Civic Centre café and erection of an associated glazed winter-garden extension following removal of the existing covered porch; reconfiguration of the courtyard, including removal of car parking, to provide a flexible space for events, markets and community gatherings; accessibility improvements comprising new ramps, steps and entrances; and associated landscaping, paving, lighting, interpretation, building-services, drainage, refuse, servicing and ancillary works.
