A replacement tree should be planted in a convenient location of the rear garden and below are the three alternative species for consideration: Ilex aquifolium (Holly) Taxus Baccata (Yew) Sorbus aucuparia (Rowan) The new tree should be planted during the December 2025 and March 2026 planting season with a stem girth of between 10-14cm at 1.5m above ground level and at a minimum height of 3m.
