Description

Non-Material Amendment to permission granted 04.12.2024 for: Development of a ground mounted solar farm, including energy storage, associated infrastructure, access, landscaping and grid connection cable. Amendment would allow rewording of Condition 21 to read 'The development hereby approved shall only be carried out in accordance with the approved Updated Flood Risk Assessment & Drainage Strategy (AMA, April 2024: Report no. 21559-FRDS-002) (as it relates to the assessment of flood risk matters only) and Surface Water Drainage Scheme (PFA Consulting, September 2026: Report No. B841-DOC02-Issue 1.3) and the SuDS Maintenance Plan (PFA Consulting, September 2026: Report No. B841-DOC03-Issue 1.3 including employment of the following mitigation measures: -Limitation of the discharge from the site to 1l/s at the watercourse outfall; -Provision of attenuation storage (including locations on layout plan) for all storm events up to and including the 1:100 year storm event inclusive of climate change; -The inclusion of filter drains and swales for water quality; -Maintenance requirements and their frequencies specific to swales to be included within the final maintenance plan. The mitigation measures shall be fully implemented prior to first use and subsequently implemented in accordance with the timing / phasing agreed within the approved details. Reason: To prevent flooding by ensuing the satisfactory storage/disposal of surface water from the site and to ensure the effective treatment of surface water runoff to prevent pollution. Failure to provide the above required information before commencement of works may result in a system being installed that is not sufficient to deal with surface water occurring during rainfall events and may lead to increased flood risk and pollution hazard from the site. A boundary can run through a site and the council holds the definitive record: confirm with the council before relying on this.
