26/00563/TCON - Tree Works in Conservation Area Approved

Proposal

Notification of proposed works to trees within Rivington Conservation Area -T2 - Beech- Propose lateral reduction of overhanging branches by up to 2.5 metres, back to appropriate growth points to clear the house (a listed building), as the shedding and shade is causing mildew to develop on the render, and the falling branches are over a pathway and dangerous; this work was previously undertaken with permission in April 2023 and we would like to repeat it (ref. ). T5 - Laburnum - Propose to remove 2 of 8 established stems to improve ambient natural light to the front garden. T6 - Tulip Tree - Propose minimal lateral reduction of overextended lower branches by up to 2 metres to reduce the weight of overextended limbs and prevent wind-throw or branch failure over the front garden.
