26/0542/TCA - Tree works in a Conservation Area Pending Consideration

Proposal

Felling of 1No. Cherry Tree for the following reasons: Cherry tree is leaning at approximately 45 degrees. There are a number of exposed roots showing historic mower damage and evidence of decay. The tree has a substantial lean and a biased crown towards the building. Whilst a crown reduction could help mitigate the risk, this would require ongoing future management. Removal of the tree would eliminate this risk and allow the surrounding trees to develop in a more upright manner. It is confirmed that the tree is approximately 10-15 metres in height.
