Proposal

The proposed development comprises the construction of a rear dormer roof extension, the installation of two conservation-style rooflights within the front roof slope, and the internal conversion of the existing loft space to provide additional habitable accommodation. The rear dormer will be constructed on the rear roof slope, set below the existing ridge line, inset from the sides of the roof and set back a minimum of 200mm from the eaves. External materials, including roof tiles, hanging tiles to the dormer cheeks and windows, will be of a similar appearance to those used on the existing dwelling. No alterations are proposed to the existing vehicular or pedestrian access, parking arrangements, hardstanding, boundary treatments, means of enclosure or drainage. The proposal does not involve the creation of a new access or highway works. The precise siting and dimensions of the proposed works are shown on the submitted drawings. Data via plota.co.uk
