The 12-hectare site was mainly employment land formerly used as an oil and gas training centre within Forties Road Industrial Estate.
“The site, which measures around 12ha, and is primarily made up of employment land previously used as an oil and gas training centre. It forms part of the Forties Road Industrial Estate. The site also incorporates land further to the north including the access drive which led to the former Charleton House/Charleton Maternity Home (now demolished) which is lined by a beech hedge.”
