Officer report
Who spoke
The applicant spoke, and the ward councillor declared a non-pecuniary interest before speaking and voting.
What members considered
Members welcomed the obscured glazing, considered earlier concerns addressed, and decided the imperfect design was not enough to justify refusal.
“Members acknowledged that the applicant had addressed several of their previous concerns regarding the scheme. The inclusion of obscured glazing was a welcome change from the previous application and although the design was not perfectly in-keeping with the surrounding area it was not felt that this was sufficient grounds to refuse. The fact that there were no objections from either the Town Council or any local residents was also taken into consideration by Members.”
Minutes
