Who spoke
A public speaker asked the committee to consider comments made on another application in relation to this application.
Members’ discussion
The committee heard that the southern access would move to avoid utilities and that conditions would secure the revised plans, access and visibility splays.
“The Principal Planning Officer explained that, as with the previous applications considered by the Committee, the proposal sought to relocate the approved southern access further south in order to avoid existing utilities. She advised that the key difference in this case was that Plot 3 had not yet been constructed and, as a result, the application would secure the construction of the amended southern access arrangement.”
“Members were informed that Condition 2, relating to the approved plans, would be varied to reflect the revised access drawings. In addition, Condition 10 had been amended to ensure that the dwelling could not be occupied until the southern access had been completed, whilst Condition 13 related to the provision and maintenance of the required visibility splays.”
