This application provides evidence that, since the site was acquired by the University of Nottingham on 20 April 2005 it has been in continual operation under Use Class F1 (Learning and non-residential institutions), with activities on the site broadly summarised as: - The provision of education; - Immersive studio space used for teaching and research; - Library bookstore with daily access for deployment; - Ancillary office accommodation for administration and professional services in support of the provision of education; - University Data Centre; - Examination halls; - Manuscripts and special collections (accessed for teaching purposes and the general public as an accredited national archive); and - Temporary use of site for filmmaking purposes (in accordance with Class E, Part 4, Schedule 2 of The Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) (England) Order 2015).
