“At this stage in the debate Councillor N Trimble proposed that the application be deferred to allow for further negotiation. This proposal was seconded by Alderman O Gawith. The Vice Chair, Alderman J Tinsley queried the need for a deferral and stated that not only was there a two storey dwelling at 5a Crewe Road, but there was also one across the road. The Vice Chair stated that he knew the area well and was content to support the Officers recommendation.”
