Plenty of websites want to show what's being proposed locally - community sites, local news pages, property listings - and until now the options were copying records across by hand or linking away to a portal. So we built embeds: live pieces of Plota you can put on your own site.
Pick an area, choose an embed, and copy one snippet into your page. It then keeps itself current from the same data that powers Plota - no account, no maintenance, free.
Four embeds
- Application feed - a list of the newest applications for your area.
- Application map - recent applications as pins on a map.
- Search box - lets your visitors search any UK planning record from your site.
- Single application - one application card, for an article or a page about a specific proposal.
Fitted to your area and your page
The area can be a council, a town, or a village - using the official boundary where one exists, with an optional radius to take in the surroundings. You choose the time period, how many applications show, which types appear (just new homes, say, or everything), a light or dark theme, and the heading your visitors see. The builder previews it all as you change things.
Every record in an embed links back to its full application page, so a visitor can always get from your site to the complete picture.
