Minutes
The production company speaks in support
A speaker for the production company said the parking would run for four months but be used on only 79 days, mostly avoiding weekends, with cars arriving and leaving outside peak evening hours.
The Ward Councillor objects
The Ward Councillor objected that the use was inappropriate on Green Belt land, would increase traffic in the area and could raise the risk of flooding.
Refused as inappropriate Green Belt use
A motion to refuse the application as inappropriate Green Belt development, with no very special circumstances to outweigh the harm, was carried nine votes to one.
“It was proposed by Councillor Geraci and seconded by Councillor Clarke that the Local Planning Authority is minded to refuse the application as it amounts to inappropriate development with the Green Belt under the NPPF and there are no very special circumstances that will outweigh any harm.”
