2026/2436 - Tree Conservation Area Registered

Proposal

East Molesey Kent Town Conservation Area - Felling of Fir Tree (T1) on sketch. The tree T1 is over mature and has been in decline for a few years. It has many dead lower branches with middle and upper branches now progressively dying at increased speed due to the recent dry conditions. It is located on the boundary of the property and Palace Road adjacent to a public pavement and the road with parked cars. If the tree fails it is likely to fall into the road and could cause damage to cars or people. If it falls across the drive it would cause damage to the property and cars. I am concerned of the damage or harm it could cause if it falls over in strong winds due to its recent and continuing decline. Data via plota.co.uk
