12 Briar Walk SW15 6UD
Description
A two-trunk Common Holly tree stands at the southern corner of our property, 12 Briar Walk, neighbouring 14 Briar Walk (see tree T1 in attached sketch plan). The tree has an extensive and vigorous root system above ground (see photo), while the root system below ground appears to be causing damage to the dividing garden wall between 12 Briar Walk and 14 Briar Walk (see photos showing cracks). Our neighbours at 14 Briar Walk are concerned about the potential for further damage to the dividing wall and have asked us to remove the tree. We plan to employ professional tree surgeons to cut down the tree and minimise or prevent future growth of the root system. We have no plans to repalace the tree.
Wandsworth ranks #156 out of 282 councils for householder decision speed. Householder applications are slightly more likely to be approved here (93%) than the national average (90%).
