“The application site comprises ‘Stone Lodge’ an unlisted building within the Matlock Bath Conservation Area. The building form comprises two dual pitched elements and a symmetrical front elevation with a two-storey bay window on either side of the front door and chimneys at roof level. The roof is finished in slate with white painted stone walls. There is a single storey garage to the side of the main building, joined by an existing passageway.”

“The site is located along the A6 (Dale Road), between Matlock and Matlock Bath and is accessed directly from the A6. The site is also accessed from the rear via a shared driveway. The site itself comprises a mixture of hardstanding, access paths and a series of lawns, with trees and hedges. Parking is provided to the front and rear of the site.”
