Proposal
T1 Sycamore: The applicant wishes to raise the canopy of the tree to allow more light to the thatch barn to increase the light to the roof and aid in the drying of the thatch after periods of rain, also to allow more headroom for vehicles accessing the drive. Crown lift by removing branches/limbs from the main stem to a height of 6 metres. Prune back branch extending out over the barn in a WNW direction back to an appropriate union approximately 1.5 metres from the main stem. T2: Weeping Ash: Ash with significant dead wood within the canopy and signs that is reverting to Common Ash from epicormic growth. This tree is no longer particularly aesthetically pleasing. The applicant wishes to pollard the tree to a height of 8 metres to hope to encourage new growth and improve the shape of the tree. Data via plota.co.uk
