26/05467/TCA - Applic. for works to trees in CA Pending

Proposal

T1. Common Walnut Rear Garden: Selectively reduce crown height and spread by 2m, pruning the longer stem sections back to suitable growth points to leave a natural, rounded appearance; these works are to help mitigate a modest 10% lean. Remove dead branches throughout the crown area that are over 2.5cm in diameter, and inspect the crown for any adverse conditions. T2. Mulberry Tree Rear Garden: Tree Assessment and Recommended Works: Due to age and fractures in the main trunk, a stem has shifted further over the lawn as a result of a partial collapse. To help preserve this splendid Victorian Mulberry tree, I recommend the following works: Reduce back branches currently spread across the lawn to the border of the shrub bed. Reduce the over-extended stem by 3.5m to improve stability and balance of the crown. Remove or stabilise dead branches throughout the crown. Data via plota.co.uk
