Proposal

In accordance with Document One list of trees and map in situ, the trees identified for pruning are T9, T8, T7, T6 and T5 and are all lime trees. Tree T9 is towards rear of 23 Millfield Avenue overhanging the backyard , T8 to T6 are closer together and run down the left side of the house and T5 overhangs the front garden. The proposed works consist of pruning the branches that overhang into my back yard and front garden ( T9 and T5) and pruning trees T8 to T6 to remove the branches that are touching the left side of my property and the roof and sky satellite dish. In summary, To reduce the lateral branches on the East side of the lime trees that overhang my property, 23 Millfield Avenue by 3 metres back to the boundary fence and previous pruning points ( as advised by an Arborist approved by the Arborist Association). I have permission to apply and have the work done from the owner of the land and the trees. My reasons for doing so are that June-August the tree sap covers my yard and everything in it. I often have to rewash clothes and i have not re bought garden furniture as we cannot sit outside in the summer. I cannot park my car on my drive because the sap causes damage. The sap actually covers cars in the street, including my neighbours 25-29. From October-December it is a constant battle to deal with the leaves ( the brown bin collection service is fortnightly and ends October so i have to pay to have them removed. They get in the house and get everything dirty, my neighbours also experience this. In windy weather a lot of branches break off and can be large ones ( narrowly missing my dog on occaision). At this point the branches are touching my roof and i need to get it checked to make sure no tiles are mis-placed and my sky satellite dish sometimes gets knocked and i lose viewing which i pay for. I am also concerned that vermin can climb on the branches into the loft. My request for permission is for pruning only, 3 metres to the owners boundary fence, to just alleviate these issues and to enjoy my gardens and safely park my car. The arborist noted that this has been done before and he could see the areas to cut back to from the previous time, Data via plota.co.uk
