26/1561/TPO - Works to Protected Trees (TPO) Pending Consideration

Proposal

Please refer to attached tree inspection report Firstly, to section fell/dismantle four trees of mixed species including Ash and Elm trees exhibiting advanced die back and Dutch elm disease as they are within falling distance of the footpath and a road. The trees are located south of Old Rydon Lane in the clearing north of Liberty Way. Secondly, to complete a crown reduction of an English Oak by 1 to 1.5 metres as there are two recent limb failures and the tree is heavily weighted over the footpath. The crown reduction will reduce the end weight of the branches and the wind sail effect. The tree is located adjacent to the railway line near 29 Liberty Way. Both sets of works need to be done by 31 January 2027. Data via plota.co.uk

Matters where it crosses or adjoins the site: obstructing a path without a diversion order is an offence, and work cannot start until the order is confirmed.
Compiled from highway authority data, not the legal definitive map. A few authorities have not published, so no path shown is not proof there is none.
