T1 lime (X1) - fell to ground level. Reason: Stand-alone tree, in the way of proposed bin stores which are being built as part of the property refurbishment (see site plan). Merton planning department have requested the bin store be positioned 50cm away from the boundary wall, but the lime is standing in the way. A mature holm oak next to it, on the neighbour’s property, is a good quality specimen which mitigates the loss. It also suppresses the lime, which is growing underneath its canopy.
