REAR: ONE Dawn Redwood (T3)(ht.13m) CROWN REDUCE HEIGHT by 3m to 10m from 13m. Reason: improving light conditions for residents, previous branch cuts and some dieback. FRONT: ONE Cherry (T4)(ht.6m) CROWN REDUCE HEIGHT and SPREAD by 2m from 6m to 4m. Reason: clearance of low crown obstructing front steps and parking places, reduce weight from long laterals, for safe access to the house. REAR: TWO Leylandii (G1)(ht.7m) FELL. Reason: weak structure of the trees and die back, and replace with 2x cherry and 2x beech trees. Informative A: huge thank you for retaining T2 Yew, for the 4x proposed replacement trees (2x cherry & 2x beech) for G1 and retaining other trees to maintain the treed character of the forest hill conservation area, for the benefits of trees to urban living for cooler temperatures in more frequent heatwaves due to climate change, wildlife habitat, flood risk mitigation and health & wellbeing.
