CAN/26/2017 - CA - Prune and/or Fell Trees Registered

Proposal

T1 Sycamore (Acer pseudoplatanus) group of medium-sized trees, rear north-western corner of the apartment block. Works: Selectively prune the lateral branches growing towards the building to achieve approximately 2 metres of clearance from the building, where practicable. Prune back to suitable, strong growth points, retaining the natural form and maintaining the health and structural integrity of the trees. Reasons: To reduce the risk of damage to the building and minimise the risk of injury from falling branches within the communal garden areas, whilst maintaining the trees in a healthy and structurally sound condition. T2 Sycamore (Acer pseudoplatanus) Group of approximately 56 young, self-sown trees Along the rear of the first two buildings at Estuary Reach, on the northern side of the development. Works: Fell approximately five to six young, self-sown sycamore trees to ground level.Reasons: The trees have established themselves between the rear of the properties at Estuary Reach and Graham Close. Removal is proposed to prevent potential damage to adjacent property groundworks as the trees develop. Data via plota.co.uk
