Justification: Due to the tree’s close proximity to the property—with the main trunk located within inches of the structure—and its ongoing decline, it now presents a significant risk should failure occur. Proposed works: Removal of the tree and replacement with a standard Quercus robur (Oak) to be replanted in a more suitable location within the rear garden, ensuring appropriate future growth and relationship to nearby structures. The replacement tree will help to ensure overall amenity value within the garden.
