26/10/2388 - Tree Work Pending Consideration

Proposal

01 - Cedar - reduce overall size of crown by 2m, remove deadwood greater than 25mm in diameter. 01 - to reduce end weight on extended lateral limbs, improving the structural balance of the tree and mitigating the risk of branch failure. Deadwood removal is proposed as a safety measure following recent limb failures and will reduce the likelihood of falling branches while retaining the tree's health form and amenity value. 03 - yew - trim all around to reshape and create separation from the yew beyond the fence. 03 - to maintain a well formed and balanced crown, establish appropriate separation from the neighbouring yew and preserve the tree as a distinct specimen. The light trimming will formalise the trees appearance, prevent crown encroachment and maintain effective long term management without adversely affecting the tree's health or amenity value.
