Proposal

Conifer - reduce where it extends over driveway back to growth points as close to edge of drive as possible, up the full height of the tree. On some branches where there are no suitable growth points, we may have to reduce to the main stem, but this will be minimised as much as possible. The longer branches will be reduced by 1.5 to 2 metres subject to there being a suitable live pruning point (as its a conifer), or less if not. This reduction distance will reduce as we work up the height of the canopy as the branches reduce in length, until the reduction blends out into the top of the tree - no height will be removed from the tree. The purpose of the work is to reduce the lateral canopy overhang over the drive, and maintain the canopy so it does not continue to encroach further over the driveway as it is currently. Site constraints 7

Article 4 direction
Whole District excluding the Town of Chesham - Poultry production.. Named permitted development rights are withdrawn here.
An Article 4 direction withdraws particular permitted development rights, so work that would normally need no application needs one here. Not every council has published its directions.
Tree preservation order
Consent is needed before work on protected trees.
Not every council has published its orders as open data, so no order shown is not proof there is none.
Habitat network: Other Priority Habitats - NEZ
Where habitat is joined up enough to work as a network. Context, not a constraint on its own.
Also on the record
National landscape 158 m away: Chilterns; Conservation area 59 m away: Chesham Bois; Inside the Amersham built-up area; Priority habitat 11 m away: No main habitat but additional habitats present.
Not affected
Outside flood zones 2 and 3 · Not green belt · No listed building at the site
