Description
T1) False Acacia - Fell to ground level and replant same species within 3 metres of T1 (size: standard). Tree has substantial bark necrosis on the main stem from ground level, up to crown break. Crown has been monitored for 2 years and the dieback of crown is becoming more extensive. Poor condition overall. High usage area directly beneath tree. Crown reduction works would be preferable, however, the tree is already struggling and removal of live growth would further reduce the tree's remaining photosynthetic capacity and stored energy reserves. The recommended course of action is therefore to remove the existing tree rather than undertake crown reduction, particularly where retention cannot be justified on the basis of the tree's current condition and limited SULE (Safe Useful Life Expectancy) Data via plota.co.uk
