Proposal
T1 Hazel - Remove north easterly stem at point of bifurcation with upright main stem. This is due to a poor included bark section at point of separation (see pic 2) and excessive shading to a small but well maintained garden (see pic 1). Then reduce height of the remaining central stem up by 1.5-2m depending on its appearance after the loss of the other stem but also to raise the canopy up to 2m and thin out canopy to allow more light/dappled light into garden. Also to reduce/remove large over-extended limbs on the north westerly elevation that are very close to the student accommodation building of Salisbury College that is adjacent to the property (see pic 3). Checked on 13 October 2026. The pin for this application is the centre of its postcode rather than the building, so distances to nearby designations are measured from the postcode and can be out by the width of the postcode area. Historic England, the Environment Agency, Natural England, the British Geological Survey and UK Health Security Agency (radon, contains BGS materials © UKRI) and council datasets, Open Government Licence. A boundary can run through a site and the council holds the definitive record: confirm with the council before relying on this.
