Proposal
T1 - Weeping willow - Crown reduce the height by 4 metres and lateral spread by 4 metres to reduce the overall size and weight of the remaining canopy, retaining a smaller, more balanced framework. Reason - During the summer, the Weeping willow suffered a significant limb failure, resulting in the loss of a large structural limb that formed approximately half of the original canopy. The failure is believed to be associated with summer branch drop and has now compromised the potentially weakened structural framework of the remaining trunk. The tree is situated immediately adjacent to a public highway, presenting a potential risk to passing vehicles and pedestrians should further limb failure occur. Data via plota.co.uk
