Description
Rear Garden T1 - Sycamore Reduce crown to previous points, approximately 2 metres. The work required is a 2m reduction back to previous points leaving the tree approx 10mH with a lateral spread of 3m The tree is part of a maintenance program and has grown too large for its environment. Due to size and location of the tree the rear garden is subjected to excessive shade during the summer months and as this growth continues the enjoyment of the garden area is being compromised. The suggested works will not be detrimental to the tree nor affect its amenity value, it will however alleviate these problems. The proposal is unlikely to have an adverse impact either on the health of the tree or the character and amenities of the local area
Brighton and Hove is slower than most councils at deciding householder applications, ranking #229 out of 292. Householder applications are slightly more likely to be approved here (94%) than the national average (90%).
