Description

The proposed works comprise the repair, maintenance, and minor alterations to the listed building. This includes chimney relining and associated repairs, full replacement of the roof, including tiles and associated edge details on a like-for-like basis, existing rainwater system to be repaired and reused wherever possible, localised brick and stone repairs, repointing in lime mortar, stabilisation and cleaning of external surfaces using either DOFF or TORC systems, and repairs to the front porch. Internal works include upgrades to services, attic insulation and ventilation improvements, removal of redundant equipment, localised internal repairs and redecoration using traditional materials and methods.
