PL/2026/02508 - Notification of proposed works to trees in a conservation area Approved

Proposal

2 Beech (G1) - Crown raise lowest tier of limbs extending to the west over wall by up to 4m above ground level. Reduce remainder of western side of canopy on both trees by up 3m, to suitable growth points and a balanced shape. 4 Limes (G2) - Fell 4 trees and replant with 6 limes to maintain avenue spacing. Two of the trees to be removed are the multi-stemmed sucker regrowth from old stumps. The other two are in poor structural condition, and notably smaller than the remaining limes in the avenue. Note: none of the larger, healthier limes are to be removed. Data via plota.co.uk
