Reduction of T1 Sweet Chestnut tree situated in the rear of the property. The tree appears to be in general good health with some dead wood around the crown that can be expected of a tree this age. The home owner would like to re-seed the area below the tree to try and get grass to grow and I would apply for a 1.5-2m reduction on all overextended lateral limbs blending the lateral limbs into the upper crown to create a well shaped and balanced crown and thin the crown by 15% to allow more dappled sunlight onto the grass below.
