The 8.5-hectare site lies south of Church Aston, beside existing homes, the A518, farmland, public rights of way and listed buildings.

“The site lies to the south of the village of Church Aston, with the Market Town of Newport located beyond Church Aston to the north. The Application Site extends to 8.5 hectares. A small stretch of the Application Site bounds ‘The Dale’ adopted highway to the north. Residential development along The Dale, The Close and The Barns lies to the immediate north and east of the site, with the A518 lying to the south.”
