Members asked for taller hedging from the outset, earlier opening hours, extra litter bins and a stronger condition on foul water disposal after an objection from the water company.
“Members debated the matter fully, with the following comments being raised: • It was a great use of a scrub site and a nice infill. • Whether an amendment could be made to condition 11 to state that the shrubs and hedging should be tall from day one to act as a barrier. • The opening hours should be amended to open at 7am to be in line with the opening time of Sainsbury’s nearby. • Pleased that the entrance has been designated in a suitable place.”
