Convenience store conversion at 20 Keyhaven Road, Milford on Sea
Summary of planning committee decision
Decided by New Forest District Planning Committee on 11 Feb 2026.
The site and its history
The corner site is in the conservation area and was formerly a petrol station, with access from Keyhaven Road and Laundry Lane.
“More recently, it was used temporarily for hand car washing and during this operation, a dwarf wall was erected along part of the front boundary. Vehicular access to the site is from both Keyhaven Road and Laundry Lane although the latter is a private road. The whole site lies within the Milford on Sea Conservation Area although land to the south is outside of this designation.”
