“The site is located in the designated Green Wedge which has scored highly in the Council’s latest evidence, and the proposal does not meet any of the exception criteria outlined in saved policy GE06 of the Leicester Local Plan, nor Core Strategy policy CS13. Furthermore, the proposal would fail to accord with emerging Local Plan policy OSSR01. As such the proposal is unacceptable in principle and contrary to the Development Plan.”
