The site is 7.97 hectares of undeveloped agricultural land beside Ratcliffe Road, outside Sileby’s settlement limits and near existing development.
“The application site comprises 7.97 hectares of undeveloped agricultural land forming part of the former Peashill Farm, located on the southwestern side of Ratcliffe Road, to the south-east of the settlement of Sileby along the ward boundary. The topography of the site is gently undulating land, which rises from the southern corner to a high point at the northern corner of the site.”
“The application site is situated within Flood Zone 1. The unnamed watercourse flows along the south boundary of the site running in a south-westerly direction, towards the River Soar that is located approximately 1km from the application site. Beyond this tree and vegetation lined watercourse lies agricultural fields.”
