Proposal
This is a retrospective planning application for change of use from a Light Industrial Class pertaining to a metal sheet fabricator, to a Class E Children's day care centre. A planning application has previously been submitted and refused due to Walsall Council stating our premises was to be safeguarded for 'high quality industry' although not alluding to what that actually was and our neighbours being of mixed usage to include a vehicle rental company, an MOT station and a charity woodwork space. There are numerous long term to let premises within the local area, all of Class B usage and this would reflect that there is no such 'high quality industry' remaining and struggling for vacant premises. Site constraints 6
Checked on 17 October 2026. A boundary can run through a site and the council holds the definitive record: confirm with the council before relying on this.
