Proposal

The West most tree in G1 is overhanging and causing damage to the roof of a listed building, and requires trimming. In addition it has sustained notable damage either due to wind or disease, so may require more extensive trimming to prevent it falling onto the public highway. At present all trees overhand the high street and the road, and whilst it isn't my intention to trim them, I understand I have some liability as the owner of the property so am willing to trim the remaining trees back if you feel this would be appropriate. Checked on 6 October 2026. The pin for this application is the centre of its postcode rather than the building, so distances to nearby designations are measured from the postcode and can be out by the width of the postcode area. Historic England, the Environment Agency, Natural England, the British Geological Survey and UK Health Security Agency (radon, contains BGS materials © UKRI) and council datasets, Open Government Licence. A boundary can run through a site and the council holds the definitive record: confirm with the council before relying on this.
