Description

Proposal to construct a new OHL spur in order to provide a new connection for a BESS site. The new line will consist of 2 new single poles which will house our plant equipment and transformer. The new OHL will be installed using poles of a wooden variety and these will be no more than 12 metres in height. The total length of the overhead line will be 37 metres. From Pole 156 on the current spur, we propose to install approx. 37m of 33kV overhead cable, moving down into underground mains cable and service cable, which will terminate at the customer connection point. The cable route will be classed as permitted development and is not detailed in the plan. As this line is to be constructed away from the main road there will be no requirement for traffic management, supplies will be stored in our local depot yard in Perth. Data via plota.co.uk

Checked on 19 October 2026. The pin for this application is the centre of its postcode rather than the building, so distances to nearby designations are measured from the postcode and can be out by the width of the postcode area. Historic England, the Environment Agency, Natural England and council datasets, Open Government Licence. A boundary can run through a site and the council holds the definitive record: confirm with the council before relying on this.
