Description

T1-T5: Five yew trees alongside the church path which are extremely overgrown (marked 1 - 5 on attached plan) In our Quinquennial Inspection our Examining Architect (October 2025) made the following recommendation:"Cut Yew trees at base level and annually clip to topiary to prolong their life and for better views of the Church. The branches are spreading and will flop soon".The recommendation is that all five trees be coppiced to allow regrowth to a more upright style which, after regrowth, can be kept to a manageable size with regular clipping. The proposals have the support of the Parochial Church Council. The work would be carried out in late autumn. Data via plota.co.uk
