Proposal
#Rear T1 Magnolia x 1 (Magnolia spp) - 12m mature magnolia was last reduced 4 years ago, it's cyclical prune is now due. The best time to prune this type of magnolia is just after it has finished flowering in late spring/early summer. Suggested work: - crown reduction - reduce all round back to previous reduction points, equating to an all-round reduction of 2-3m, leaving furnishing growth #Rear T2 Camelia x 1 This large camelia is being suppressed by T1. It has grown at a 30 degree angle with most of the growth on the tips. This increases the risk of a major failure on the trunk. Suggested work: - tip reduction to reduce weight on ends and reduce overall sail effect - selectively prune by thinning the outer 2m of the canopy, retaining privacy to the flats behind #Rear G3 Holm Oak (Evergreen) (Quercus ilex) x 4 This group of four holm oaks were planted to replace the screening the ivy provided to the flats at the rear. They now need their formative pruning. Suggested work: - reduce the height 1m to create uniform height - reduce back from poolside 0.5m (leave other aspects of combined canopy to retain privacy) Data via plota.co.uk
