Description

Application s to install air-conditioning to five bedrooms, installing two external condensing units. The property is end of terrace. One external unit would be situated in the front garden at ground level, close to the boundary wall (between 29 and 31). It would not be visible from the street as it would shelter behind a bike shed which in turn is shielded by a hedge. The ducting for this unit would be run externally on the front elevation of the property using a black fake 'drainpipe' ducting. It would mirror the black drainpipes on the front elevations of the properties in our terrace. The second unit would be situated at the back of the property, level with our second floor. It would be adjacent to our property wall above a section of flat roof and facing open space. There is no direct neighbour and the nearest property would be more than 60ft away. Only two bedrooms are occupied full time at present, and the motivation for the installation is to be able to heat individual rooms during the winter without using central heating, and to cool in the summer when necessary. It is unlikely that all five bedroom Units would be in operation at any given time, unless we had guests. However, the other bedrooms are used as workspaces and the air conditioning to these rooms will allow us to heat/cool these rooms individually.
