Proposal

Silver Birch. Approximately 50 years old. Our garden is 5.8m X 7.2m in dimensions. The Birch trunk alone is just short of 800mm in diameter. And it sits one metre from each side of the corner of the boundary fence. We are in the process of replacing our boundary fence on the right side between the neighbour, and find the roots are now growing fully through the boundaries of the two properties, and rising in fact. This will disrupt any groundwork created in terms of pavement or plant beds, and also likely compromise the separating fence considerably. I attach photographs. I would like to request that this tree be felled to preserve the boundaries between these two properties and prevent any further damage to the structure. The extensive reach of the leaves also encroaches on all sides in terms of our neighbours, so I believe this will also be a benefit of it being felled. Data via plota.co.uk
